Girly Football Sweets Table

Hey party peeps! I don’t know about you, but I am a HUGE FOOTBALL FAN! And I know I’m not alone…the number of football lovin’ ladies is growing as seen in my latest Trend Alert on Hostess With The Mostess this week! To celebrate this growing trend, I styled a GIRLY FOOTBALL SWEETS TABLE with ideas for your upcoming Superbowl parties.

HOW DID SHE DO THAT?
The inspiration for this shoot were these awesome football props from Hello My Sweet!  The football goal posts, field tablecloth and bleacher cupcake stands were so unique!  What’s even better is they painted the items to match my girly color palette of pink, silver and black!  I couldn’t resist embellishing the silver goal posts with a pink rhinestone…why not!   And you know I had to design a fabulous PRINTABLE GIRLY FOOTBALL SCOREBOARD that fit perfectly on Hello My Sweet’s scoreboard prop!  The printable scoreboard is available in my shop here.  I am also working on a full Girly Football printable collection for all those Football Parties next season!  

The Touchdown glitter letter banner from Made By A Princess paired with the football props and a silver sequin table linen from Candy Crush Shop were the perfect girly backdrop!  What girl doesn’t like a little pink and bling!  Yes, even football party decor can be “girlied” up by mixing in bling elements like this bling hurricane vase from Z Gallerie I turned upside down and placed a football on, bling sparkle sticks added to cake pops and bling candy scoops from Talia’s Creative Printing…YES!  The finishing touch…the desserts! How fabulous are these pink glittery cake pops, candy apples and chocolate lollipops from Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins.  Also, I happen to have a slight addiction to acrylic at the moment and these acrylic “Touchdown” and “Superbowl” cupcake toppers from Ten 23 Designs were right up my alley!

GIRLFRIEND TIP:  Give your cake pops a touch of bling by using bling sparkle sticks from Made by a Princess instead of the usual white stick!  AND, no need to spend a fortune on designer cupcakes…these are store-bought cupcakes from Target that look like a million bucks by displaying the in a glitter cupcake wrapper from Dress My Cupcake and topping them with a mix of acrylic cupcake toppers and pink shimmer gumballs.
