Hey party peeps!
Today I’m sharing with you a theme near and dear to my heart. It is one that I designed myself, “Girlyz Lil’ Princesses©”. Frustrated with the lack of multi-cultural princess party supplies out there, I decided to design my own princess printable collection based on my own two multi-cultural daughters. The Girlyz printable collection is now available in my shop here.
GIRLFRIEND TIP: For this princess party, I didn’t want to stick with the traditional girly look. I wanted to create a more hip and trendy princess party so I put my own spin on it and added denim, sequin and high top sneakers to the decor. You could also switch the “g” cutouts with your daughter’s first initial to create a personalized design element.

HOW DID SHE DO THAT?
When designing a completely custom theme, there are so many options available to you to create custom decor to match it. In this case, I teamed up with Ten23 Designs who created some awesome laser wood cutouts and decals that helped bring my vision to life! The “Girlyz” logo “g” is the main design element so I had Ten23 Designs create wood and vinyl decal cutouts of the logo and used them in many different ways in the party’s decor like customizing the chairs and glass candy jars!
Use Cutouts to Create Custom Photo Props!
Laser cut wood cutout sticks are perfect to use as photo props! Create any custom shapes or words you like! Your guests will have lots of fun posing with them. And since they’re wood, they are a perfect alternative to paper photo props for outside parties where it may be windy!
DESIGN TIP: For an added touch, create a “Girlyz” dress up area where the girls can get dressed up in tutus like these custom denim and tulle tutus made by Atutudes before they take their photos. The tutus can double as a dress up activity and a take home favor for each guest!
Use Laser Cut Vinyl Decals to Customize Candy Containers & Treat Bags!
Create custom candy containers & dessert bags in one easy step with custom laser cut decals! Here I applied a laser cut “g” logo to the front of apothecary jars for an instant custom look. The great thing about this trick is that the decals are removable so the decor is temporary and you can reuse your containers without any permanent alterations. Use the same process to create custom treat bags with vinyl decals and these striped paper bags from Bloom Designs.
DESIGN TIP: You can also use printables to customize favor bags. Here I used printable circles personalized with each guests names and attached them to the front of denim handbags. And, don’t forget the most important part of a princess party…BLING! To add in touches of bling I added in this gorgeous bling frame and matching bling tongs & scoops from Talia’s Creative Printing in the sweets table design.
Use Cutouts to Customize Sweets Displays!
Creating this custom push pop display is so easy to do! I had the Girlyz logo “g” cut out from wood with a stick on the bottom of it so I could easily place it where I needed it to go. This acrylic push pop tray from Koyal Wholesale is the perfect way to display up to 18 push pop containers in perfect alignment. Simply place the cutout wood stick inside an open container in the middle of the tray for an easy custom dessert display!
DESIGN TIP: Another easy way to customize your desserts is with fondant. Here, Edible Details created a 3D high top sneaker with the Girlyz logo and matching fondant circle toppers I used to glam up store-bought cupcakes!
Custom & Personalized Backdrop Sign!
To create a truly unique wow factor above the sweets table, the guest of honor’s name was cut out of wood in a script font. I spraypainted it pink, then followed that with a top coat of pink glitter spraypaint. To add a bit of sparkle and bling, I embellished it with rhinestone stickers. So easy! To hang it I just placed a hook on the back of the cutout and hung it from the top of the backdrop stand with fishing wire.
Design Tip: I used a sparkly sequin table linen from Candy Crush Events and hung it from a backdrop stand behind the table which was perfect to hide the fishing wire so the “Riley” wood cutout seems to float above the table. The best thing about these name cutouts is that after the party is over you can mount these easily in your child’s room for instant bedroom wall art! Double duty!
Use Cutouts to Create Custom Plates & Chairs!
Custom laser cut vinyl decals are one of my favorite ways to add an elegant custom touch to your dining table! Here I used the Girlyz logo decals to the fronts of each chair to create instant custom chairs! You can also create custom plates using decals! Simply place the decal in the center of a plate and then place a clear plate of the same size on top of it. Super easy and high-end looking! Here I used a clear plate on the bottom of the custom plate, but you can use any color plate you want for the bottom plate that matches your party. Just be sure to top it with the same sized clear plate so you can see the decal through it and is now ready to eat on!
DESIGN TIP: You can also use printables to customize the backs of the chairs by using printable circles attached to denim pockets with each guest’s name. Simply use glue dots to adhere the pockets to the backs of the chairs.
Use Cutouts to Create Custom Centerpieces!
Create instant custom centerpieces easily by simply placing a custom wood cutout inside a vase. To use cutouts as centerpiece sticks, request your custom wood cutouts to include a stick so you can easily place them into vases or other containers. To add a bit of unexpected whimsey to the dining table, I placed this Elly spiral cupcake stand from Dress My Cupcake on the dining table instead of the sweets table to display a dozen cupcakes topped with custom wood cutouts which were the perfect compliment to the “Girlyz” printable cupcake toppers.
DESIGN TIP: I embellished the tops of the vases with silver rhinestone ribbon from Koyal Wholesale for an added design touch and to hide the tops of the centerpiece sticks for a more finished look. Another finishing touch is wrapping the store bought cupcakes with resusable glitter cupcake wrappers also available from Dress My Cupcake in 20 colors!

I love the backdrops that you use in your candy and dessert tables. they finish the look so beautifully. How do you hang them? What kind of stand do you use?
