Hey party peeps! My son is turning 4 this December and he has already asked for a Dinosaur Party for his birthday this year. He recently got into dinosaurs and has watched the Land Before Time movie series over and over and over! I was particularly excited as these were the movies that my now 18 year old son and my now 12 year old daughter loved when they were kids, so it’s been an emotional journey seeing my 4 year old son following in his older siblings footsteps. Good thing I held on to the entire Land Before Time DVD collection once my daughter outgrew it! Now he gets to watch them all.
Any time my kids decide on a party theme for their birthdays, I can’t help but get super excited. My mind begins turning with ideas and of course, like most moms out there, scour Pinterest for cool ideas. Today I’d love to share with you my ideas for a toddler-friendly “Cute & Cuddly” Dinosaur Party compiled from a few styled shoots I did recently for Jelly Belly and The Manhattan Toy Company.
When I sat down with my son and asked him what kind of Dinosaur party he wanted, he got really excited and yelled a BIG…SCARY…DINOSAUR PARTY! Well, my hope for a cute and cuddly Dinosaur Party went out the window…in the meantime, let’s just enjoy this cute and cuddly, toddler-friendly Dinosaur Party post….shall we?
Dinosaur Candy Bar!

Dinosaur Party Favor Table!
For parties with young kids, I like to set up a favor bar stocked with the 3 B’s — Balls, Books and Bubbles! These are ALWAYS a hit with toddlers! As an extra added touch send each guest home with a small plush Dinoz dinosaur and soft book from The Manhattan Toy Company. AND…the set of 3 larger ones make a perfect gift for the birthday boy!
