Hey party peeps! Have you heard of Marvel Super Hero Mashers? They are the hottest new toys of the season and they also have a fun Mix + Smash Super Hero Mashers App available on the App Store too where kids can mix up their favorite Marvel characters and create their own new Super Hero who battle the villains. My kids “remixed” their favorite characters into cool new Super Heroes with a mix of new super powers. There are dozens of levels to complete and exclusive Marvel Super Hero Masher short videos in the game that my youngest son particularly loved. Inspired by their new love for the app and the fact that the Super Hero Mashers were on their Christmas lists this year, I surprised my kids and nephews with a MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHERS PARTY! If you have kids who love Marvel characters, then THIS IS A PARTY THEY WILL LOVE and a new twist on an Avengers birthday party theme!
HOW DID SHE DO THAT?
The first thing I did was visit BirthdayExpress.com and order all of my Marvel party goods, candy and decorations. Then off to ToysRUs to stock up on the new Marvel Super Hero Mashers for party favors, decorations and the ultimate party activity!
SET THE SCENE!
Create a Marvel universe in your party space by using the Marvel character standups, room decorations and party goods from Birthday Express to really set the scene and transform your space. Check out how I “Mix + Smash” the Spiderman standup by having him hold Captain America’s shield! For the dining table I used a few of the remixed toys to create a Super Hero Masher Toys Centerpiece Tower! To give the table a mixed up feel, I used Spiderman face plates and created a mixed face by placing a different character mask on either side of it to give it a blended face look. I also love to use toys in a party’s decor so I used the Super Hero Masher Toys all throughout the party space.
GET INTO CHARACTER WITH A MIX + SMASH MARVEL COSTUME STATION!
Next, have costumes and accessories of each of your kid’s favorite Marvel characters on hand for them to wear…BUT…since this is a Marvel Super Hero Mashers party…they will have to “Mix + Smash” their costumes so that they are real live remixed Marvel Super Heroes. THEY LOVED THIS and I even got my sister and her husband in on the action to host the party as a remixed Black Widow and Thor! They both are HUGE Marvel fans, so this was not hard to get them to do! Consider getting in the fun at your kid’s next party by dressing up…the kids love it! Be sure to have your camera ready and have the kids give you their best super hero poses.
MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHER MIX + SMASH ACTIVITY TABLE!
The kids COULD NOT WAIT to get their hands on these toys so they could Mix + Smash their own characters. They had a ball creating all kinds of remixed super heroes. I found this multi-pack of Super Hero Mashers at ToysRUs which was a great deal and provided plenty of the toys for the kids to use to mix them up.
MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHER MIX + SMASH FAVOR BAR!
Send your guests home with a Super Hero Masher of their own and then give them buckets so they can Mix + Smash their own favors by picking and choosing from lots of Marvel character favors. My son’s favorite was the Hulk blowout, of course!
MARVEL SUPER HERO MASHERS MIX + SMASH SWEETS!
You guys know I love having Candy Tables at my parties! For this one, I just picked out candy I know my kids love in colors that matched my party (green, red and blue) and displayed them on the table with the Super Hero Masher toys. I also had my friends Auntie Bea’s Bakery make these iced cookies inspired by the Marvel characters and Sparkling Sweets Boutique whipped up some cake pops and chocolate covered OREOS inspired by my son’s favorite…the Hulk!
I hope you are inspired to try this twist on a Marvel themed party this year for your little Marvel fan at home.
