Hey party peeps!
I’m excited today to feature a colleague of mine, Christina Christian and her unique party concept, “Be My…Bridesmaid!” Cocktail Party. Just in time for the start of the wedding season. Enjoy the pics and Christina’s description of the party:
“Be My…Bridesmaid!” Cocktail Party!
Is there such a thing as a “Bridesmaid reveal party?” Well there is now! And I must admit that a surprise rooftop “Be My…Bridesmaid!” cocktail party in Cincinnati during the freezing February winter is a crazy idea. But the ladies forgot all about the 17 degree temp (or almost did) when they were asked to join their friend in celebrating her wedding, after the big question was popped in the most creative way.
Details to look out for include:
-Incredible rooftop view of Cincinnati’s skyscrapers
-Large “Be My…” “Bridesmaid!” canvas signs
-Stationary sets with matching accessories
-Rose gold inspired tassel garland
When the groom-to-be proposed, he used a custom pillow saying, “Marry Me?” from Shutterfly. Of course that same pillow was the inspiration for the other wedding events as well. When preparing for your wedding why not think outside of the box when asking your besties to be your bridesmaid? Even more so, why not spoil them with a small cocktail hour before the heavy #BRIDESMAIDDUTIES kick in! Trust me…your ladies will love you for this!
This bridesmaid reveal party started off as a small gathering with cocktails made by Top of the Park and fun bridesmaid stationary letter sets with matching accessories including heart pencils, photo booth props and advice cards. The dessert selection was a light and simple; matching heart shaped brownies and rice krispy treats, chocolate cupcakes and french macarons. Also, did you see the glass milk crates full of Smoothie flavored gummy bears which paired with the Blood Orange San Pellegrino? The combo will literally stop you in your tracks to enjoy!
In addition to all of the sweet treats, each lady was surprised with a collection of champagne flutes and personalized pillows (Christina Christian turned out wonderful on the fabric.) So, why not have a bridesmaid reveal party as a way to say, “Be My…BRIDESMAID!”
