HOT WHEELS PARTY DETAILS!
AS TOLD BY MONTRILLA:
I was asked to do a Hot Wheels Party for a 5 year old boy, the idea I had in mind was to bring a true Hot Wheels experience to life on a table. With that being said, I knew I wanted to have race car tracks on the table. So the search was on. After searching the internet for flexible color race car tracks without any luck, I made my own and was able to make them in the colors I wanted. Putting little Hot Wheels cars on the tracks was a must. Another idea I had was to feature car-shaped cake pops inside of custom Hot Wheel packaging that you would find on the shelves in your local toy stores. For the backdrop I had the idea of putting steering wheels all over it to give it a 3D look. While visiting my local home goods I found a fruit basket that to me looked like a race car dome and thought how cute would it be to have car-shaped cookies appear as if they were racing around inside. I had so much fun designing this party for my client and I could not have pulled it off without the help of several talented vendors who created amazing desserts and graphics. Be sure to scroll down to the end of the post for links to all these amazing vendors!
