Hey party peeps! How’s your summer going? For me, it’s been all about summer entertaining for family and friends. Sometimes entertaining came be intimidating, but it really can be pretty easy if you have a few tips and tricks. Today I’m going to show you an easy and yummy Strawberry Lemonade Bellini Mocktail Recipe that you can whip up in minutes before guests arrive! Don’t we all want quick and easy when planning a party? Oh yes…let’s get started!
GIRLFRIEND TIP: This recipe uses my favorite Simply Lemonade® which I pick up routinely at Sam’s Club in a 2-pack for $3.88 which is a great savings from purchasing them individually at my local grocery store. At that price, I keep them on hand all summer long! PLUS…they it is made from all-natural lemonade with no added preservatives colors or artificial flavors so as a Mom, I feel good about serving it to my whole family! You’re welcome for that tip!
STRAWBERRY LEMONADE BELLINI MOCKTAIL!
As a party planner, I always offer guests who don’t drink alcohol, a non-alcoholic drink option. To keep the drink festive, I like to serve Mocktails which are a non-alcoholic version of classic cocktails. Here I put my own twist on the classic Bellini which is typically served with champagne and replaced the champagne with Simply Lemonade!
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
– Simply Lemonade®
– 1 lb bag of frozen strawberries
– 2 cups sugar
– 2 cups water
STEP 1: MAKE A SIMPLE SYRUP!
Combine 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a pot and bring to a boil while stirring until all the sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
STEP 2: MAKE A STRAWBERRY PUREE!
Once the simple syrup is cooled, pour the simple syrup into a blender and add all the strawberries. Blend using the puree option on your blender. (If you don’t have a puree option, simply blend on high until you have a smooth consistency).
GIRLFRIEND TIP: You can use this same recipe to make different flavored Bellini Mocktails. One of my favorites is mixing raspberries and Simply Raspberry Lemonade® to make a Raspberry Lemonade Bellini Cocktail. You can purchase the 2-pack of Simply Raspberry Lemonade® at Sam’s Club too for the same great price!
STEP 3: SERVE YOUR BELLINI!
Fill a champagne glass 1/4 way full of strawberry puree and fill the glass the rest of the way with Simply Lemonade. Garnish with a strawberry and serve with a yellow and white paper straw.
GIRLFRIEND TIP: To serve these at parties, you can set up a Bellini Station and offer several different flavored purees. Place the purees in pitchers or carafes along with the Simply Lemonade and let guests make their own.
Cheers!
Tonya
