Hey party peeps! This year, I am determined to get my Valentine’s Day card shopping done early. For too many years I wait until the last minute and sneak in to the store to grab Valentine’s Day cards for my friends and family. Am I the only one? Well, not this year! While shopping in Walgreens last week I came across Hallmark Signature Valentine’s Day cards and let me tell you, these cards are not your ordinary Valentine’s Day cards! They are so unique and I also found a super cute section of Inspirations from Hallmark gifts that matched the cards I picked out for my friends. These gifts are only available at Walgreens so hurry in for the best selection.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Your Girlfriends!
Most of you know that I work from home which can be lonely sometimes, so whenever I can, I like to invite my girlfriends over for coffee or lunch. When I saw these super cute Hallmark Valentine’s Day cards at Walgreens, I was inspired to host a small coffee get together with my friends to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. With this plan in mind, I was able to walk over to the seasonal aisle and found fun little mugs from the Inspirations from Hallmark line of gifts to match the cards I had just selected. I also picked up this cute wall hanging block to decorate with, adding a little extra holiday feel to my coffee display.
The cards are so cute, I seriously don’t want to put them in the envelopes. They look like they should be framed. Instead, I’m going to sit them upright next to each of my friend’s mugs so they add a bit of decor to the coffee date. I’m sure my friends are going to love it!
Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Your Kids!
While browsing through the Hallmark Signature Valentine’s Day cards section at Walgreens, I found the perfect cards for my kids within minutes. THAT never happens! I’m usually looking and looking and never really seem to the find just the right one. Not this time. These matched the personality of each of my kids perfectly! Check out this one with a 3D gold dinosaur! OH YES! I had to have that card for my son, Michael.
Riley wants to join dance class this year, so this ballerina one I’m sure she’ll love. AND…the inside of the card reads “Love Your Sweetness, Love Your Sparkle, Love You!” which is perfect for her as I am always telling her that she has so much sparkle.
Faith, my teen daughter, normally is hard to shop for, but this card was so creative just like her. It has a necklace attached to it so it doubled as a gift too. Gotta love that!
Surprise Your Kids With Cookies to Decorate!
To make card-giving more fun, why not surprise your kids when they come home from school on Valentine’s Day with a cookie decorating station! Instead of placing the cards in envelopes, display them instead upright in front of each of your kid’s plates. I know my kids will have fun decorating and, of course eating, these yummy heart cookies. I may just have to join them with my coffee and fabulous Inspirations from Hallmark coffee mug of course!

Hallmark has such amazing, thoughtful cards. I work from home too, and I totally want to invite all my ladies over for the day for coffee and catch up. I will have to get to Walgreens for goodies!
I love the idea of setting up a surprise cookie decorating bar for the kids to find when they come home from school! And those mugs are too cute – I like that they have lids to help keep the coffee hot longer!

Hallmark cards are the best! I used to save up my allowance when I was a kid so I could buy my parents a greeting card. Oh, those precious memories!

Awe, your kids are cute! This year I was on top of my game, first time ever and bought my card for my husband early. We normally don’t do anything for Valentine’s day, but considering the hard six months we’ve had, I just wanted to tell my husband how much I love him.

I’m not much of card person, but my hubby os so I spend quite bit of time searching for the perfect one. My dad is also a card person, but he carries a letter I wrote him one year in his wallet instead. If you were to meet him, he’d whip it out for you, he often does.

In Finland we don’t celebrate Valentines, it’s called Friendship Day – so yeah, valentines is definitely for others than just couples too 🙂

wow, i love the idea of cookie decorating! Now i am thinking if i have a creative idea for that.
I remember before I used Hallmarks card for Birthday and this Valentines day. I though card was not trend this days.
I do alot of card shopping at Hallmark stores. They had some really fun cards this year. I got my youngest son the Dino card and there was one with sprinkles on that I grabbed for my youngest daughter.
