Winter White Bridal Shower Look For Less Tips!
Take Advantage of Holiday Sales to Stock Up on White & Silver Decor!
Take advantage of the season and you can get some great deals on silver and white items to use in your shower decor! Most of the holiday decor is 50-70% off right after Black Friday. You can scoop up ornaments, reindeers, wreaths, garland, twinkle lights and more all in your sparkly white and silver color palette.
Dollar Store Decor Accents Can Look Like a Million Bucks!
Here I used sparkly white reindeer and Christmas tree ornaments to add some sparkle to the sweets table. I also used sparkly styrofoam balls as snowballs under a salad bowl that elevated our chandelier centerpiece.
Offer Cupcakes Instead of an Elaborate Cake!
Designer cupcakes are all the rage right now but can sometimes bust your budget at $4-$6 each. Store bought cupcakes are more affordable and taste great! My favorites are these new Archer Farms cupcakes from Target that are great on your budget at 4 for $3.99 which is $1 each…AND…are frosted with such precision, they look like you spent a fortune on them! They come in lemon, chocolate, red velvet, pumpkin and lucky for me…vanilla…which works perfectly with my sweets table design.
Add Designer Touches to Store Bought Cupcakes!
Fondant toppers like these flat snowflakes from Edible Details at $2 each, sparkly tulle cupcake toppers by Fizzy Party at $1.50 each and bling pinwheels from Peckled at $1 each instantly transform store bought cupcakes into designer masterpieces at a fraction of the cost of designer cupcakes alone. Wrap them in a glittered white cupcake wrapper by Dress My Cupcake and you have created a designer look to store-bought cupcakes.
Get Double Duty Out of One Item!
Get creative with fondant toppers! Most times fondant toppers come in dozens. If you need less than the dozen, you can use some of them as normal cupcake toppers and get double duty out of your purchase by placing them on lollipop sticks and insert them into candy-filled favor boxes to create one-of-a-kind fondant-topped favors!
