Hey party peeps! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are so popular right now. You know what else is super popular right now? SLIME! YES…my kids and I have gotten into the slime craze and they ALL love Ninja Turtles so we combined their two favorite things. Today I’m going to show you HOW TO MAKE NINJA TURTLES MUTAGEN SLIME! It’s super easy, inexpensive and kids LOVE it!
HOW TO MAKE NINJA TURTLES MUTAGEN SLIME!
This would make a great party activity for kids to do at a Ninja Turtles Party. They can have fun making it at the party then take it home with them. Now, THIS is a cool Ninja Turtles party favor, right? Check out this cool video where I show you how to make it or see below for all the step by step instructions.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:
From Target:
– 4 oz. Elmer’s Glue
– 1/2 tbsp Baking Soda
– 1 tbsp Contact Lens Solution
From Michaels:
– Craft Smart Green Metallic Paint
From Oriental Trading:
– Green Glitter
– Large Favor Tube
– Clear Round Containers
STEP 1: Squeeze 4 oz. of Elmer’s Glue into a plastic bowl.
STEP 2: Add 1/2 tbsp baking soda into the bowl and stir.
STEP 3: Now it’s time to add color. To make a cool Mutagen colored green, add Craft Smart metallic green paint to the glue mixture and stir until fully combined. Continue adding until you get the color you want.
STEP 4: Add some sparkle to your mixture by adding green glitter. Stir until combined.
STEP 5: Here’s where the fun starts! Add 1 tbsp of contact lens solution to your glue mixture and stir. The mixture will begin to firm up as you stir.
STEP 6: Once your slime has firmed, remove it from the bowl and begin to kneed it in your hands. It will be somewhat wet and sticky when you first start to kneed it, but as you go it will get to a slime consistency where it can stretch and splat! OH YEAH!
SEND GUESTS HOME WITH THEIR OWN NINJA TURTLES MUTAGEN SLIME PARTY FAVORS!
Send your party guests home with their own Ninja Turtles Mutagen Slime! Place the slime in either these Favor Tubes or Clear Round Favor Containers from Oriental Trading. This will keep the slime from drying out. KIDS WILL LOVE THIS!
As an added bonus, send your guests home with their own Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toy along with the slime.

Homemade slime is the best. My kids like to make Oobleck, which is a little different, but just as much fun!

I have got to make that slime for my niece and nephew who love Ninja Turtles. It is amazing how the great heroes last and can adapt for many years of kids enjoyment.
RIGHT! My older son is now 21 and he was into Ninja Turtles when he was little. Now full circle, my 5 year old son is now a TMNT fan!

I remember slime from Nickelodeon. They would dump slime on people. This seems like a fun thing you could just make at home.

I did a party like this when my guys were little. I let them decorate cupcakes with airheads as the masks and little toy swords. They loved it.
