Hey party peeps! Happy Holidays! Are you guys gearing up for 2017? I for one am looking forward to a brand new year with brand new goals, but not before celebrating 2016 with a glam GOLD NEW YEARS EVE COCKTAIL PARTY featuring an Appetizer and Mimosa Bar, DIY decorations and my recipe for yummy Champagne Cranberry Orange Mimosas! Enjoy the eye candy!
SET THE SCENE FOR A GOLD NEW YEARS EVE COCKTAIL PARTY!
Nothing says New Years Eve than shiny metallics and sequin! To set the scene, simply use sequin table linen and backdrops combined with shiny metallic table chargers. For that wow factor, use these 2017 silver metallic balloons above the Appetizer and Mimosa Bar and this CHEERS marquee light just lights up the dining table! For a full shopping list and all the details from this party, CLICK HERE.
SERVE BITE-SIZE APPETIZERS!
Serving bite-size appetizers is a perfect way to provide guests with snacks throughout the night until the ball drops at midnight! Oriental Trading has an entire collection of mini trays and bowls that are affordable and disposable! No mess to cleanup after the party! YES!!!!!!

SERVE CHAMPAGNE MIMOSAS!
If you’re like me, I prefer to drink champagne with a fruity taste, so Mimosas are perfect for me. Set up a self-serve Mimosa Bar so guests can make their own. Since Cranberry is such a festive flavor of the holiday season, I decided to offer Cranberry Mimosas in a variety of flavor combinations. I love the Cranberry Orange Mimosa but you can make them in lots of different flavors like Cranberry Mango, Cranberry Pineapple and Cranberry Apple.

ADD DIY NEW YEARS EVE DECORATIONS & PARTY FAVORS!
I love to add a DIY touch to my parties and for this I thought it would be fun to make custom DIY 2017 Place Cards for each guest at the dining table. How sparkly and fabulous are these. Guests can take these home as well.

GIRLFRIEND TIP: Display your party favors and use them as party decorations. Here I made these Gold Glitter 2017 Ornaments and Candy-Filled Ornaments and hung them from a sparkly gold tree to create a stunning centerpiece. Guests simply take one off the tree at the end of the party to take home.
