Happy Holidays party peeps! Christmas is my favorite time of year. It also can be a stressful time of year with how busy it can get. Wrapping presents is one of my personal stresses as I’m one of those moms who hides all the kids’ presents and waits until Christmas Eve when my husband and I pull them all out and binge wrap them all once after the kids have gone to sleep. This could last until the wee hours of the morning and just when you’ve drifted off to sleep, your kids are at your bedside waking you up on Christmas morning. Am I the only one? Well, this year, I’m determined to change a stress into FUN! So, when Oriental Trading asked me to come up with a unique and fun Christmas party theme for adults, I knew just what to do!
This year, why not ask your hubby to take the kids out for a few hours and invite your friends over for a night of fun and gift wrapping! No more 3am gift wrapping binges! Get all your wrapping done before Christmas Eve and instead spend Christmas Eve relaxing so you can wake up refreshed on Christmas morning. HOW TO HOST A CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING PARTY!
FIRST…LET’S DINE!
When your friends arrive, treat them to a delicious dinner and have a seat at this festive Christmas dining table! How cute is this! A mix of modern and whimsical was the perfect combination to set the scene for a fun night.
GIRLFRIEND TIP: Did I mention that ALL of the placesetting is disposable! WHAT??!! I know! Jazz up your pacesetting by layering different styles and patterns plates on top of each other. AND…I always use the disposable silver cutlery. They look like real metal cutlery but are plastic and disposable! Tuck a candy cane in the stocking at each placesetting as an after meal sweet treat.

MAKE THESE DIY STOCKING ORNAMENTS!
How cute are these DIY Stocking Ornaments. You can personalize them with each guest’s name and hang them on a tree along with other Christmas ornaments from Oriental Trading for a cute Stocking Christmas Tree Centerpiece.

SERVE BLITZEN BLIZZARD COCKTAILS!
If you try any new cocktails this holiday season, you have to try this one. It is so delicious and easy to make. It’s also super easy to make in a mocktail version as well.
GIRLFRIEND TIP: This can be made in batches so you can serve them all at once before your guests sit down to enjoy a meal.

LET’S GET WRAPPING!
Oriental Trading has a great selection of gift bags, boxes and containers that make wrapping presents easy. You don’t always have to wrap presents with wrapping paper. Have on hand plenty of different styles and sizes of gift bags, boxes and gift wrap for your guests. The idea is to have your guests bring some of their presents over and you all wrap them together. You can also have your guests bring their own wrapping paper if they prefer. It’s more fun to wrap presents while having fun with your friends.
GIRLFRIEND TIP: You may not be able to get all your kid’s gifts wrapped during the party, but it would be a great time to wrap all your gifts for friends, co-workers and teachers.

SEND YOUR GUEST’S HOME WITH A TRIP TO THE STOCKING STUFFER FAVOR BAR!
Thank your guests with a trip to the Stocking Stuffer Favor Bar. Each guest will fill a plush red stocking with one of each of the gifts to take home. Oriental Trading has lots of holiday gift items to choose from.

USE A DIY WREATH AS A CENTERPIECE!
See that Santa Hat Wreath? I made that!!!!! I love how you can use a wreath as a table centerpiece. It is now currently hanging on my daughter’s bedroom door and she is loving it! It’s super easy to make and looks fabulous! Want to make one?

I have heard of gift wrapping parties. I had never really been interested in them before, but now seeing all these fancy photos… I think I may need to throw one myself. Looks like a great way to change up the boringness of wrapping by myself watching Christmas movies with a glass of wine.
